The autopsy results for comedian Bob Saget came as a shock to many. He died from “blunt head trauma” after a fall led to skull fractures and bleeding near his brain. The family reported he hit his head, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. His death was ruled an accident.
We talked to a local doctor about who should get checked out and why. Dr. Michael says if someone is on blood thinners, a high dose of Aspirin, or has had a history of a head bleed before they should get an exam and a CAT scan quickly. He says if you have a worsening headache, become irritable, or feel drowsy you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

In a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, the late ‘Full House’ star’s relatives confirmed that authorities have determined the cause of death to be head trauma. The message added that drugs and alcohol were not involved.

Bob Saget’s Cause of Death Revealed
Bob Saget’s cause of death has been revealed. According to the Saget family, authorities determined the late comedian died from ‘head trauma’ after ‘he accidentally hit the back of his head.’ In a statement released to ET, the Saget family noted that authorities also determined ‘no drugs or alcohol were involved.’ Saget died on Jan. 9. He was 65.
